They are miniture sculptural objects that have a power and beauty.
The moulds have been created using handmade tools, then cast in metal.
Michael has used the goldsmithing techniques of repousse and chasing.
REPOUSSE is a metal working technique in which a malleable metal is ornamented or shaped by hammering from the reverse side to create a design in low relief.
CHASING is the opposite - sinking the metal from the right side (embossing).
These tokens can be used as keyrings(as shown) or thread onto cord or chain and worn as charms around the neck.
